Weekend wrap up

Hello again. I hope you had a lovely weekend and survived another Monday. Was it just me or did today feel like it lasted FOREVER? Even though my parents only live 2 hours away I'm always exhausted after the drive back. It also didn't help that it was pouring rain while I was driving home last night. Hopefully going to bed early tonight will help get me back on track. It was good to see my family and friends though. I haven't seen all of them since Christmas. It's always nice to catch up and share some laughs and food together.

The main reason I went back home was to attend my friend Michele's baby shower. I can't believe how big her baby belly has gotten! Last time I saw her she was barely showing. It's so crazy to watch your friends transform from young party girls to wives and now mommies. Makes me feel so old haha. But I'm so excited for her and her husband and to meet little Isabella when she finally arrives :)

Of course I finished the baby shower gift at the last minute but here's how it turned out..
