Rain, rain, go away

The weather was insane this weekend. It alternated between pouring rain and howling winds. It was the kind of wind that makes you afraid a tree will fall on your car. Luckily nothing like that happened. I just wound up with a little mess on my balcony. So I spent majority of the weekend catching up on episodes of Brothers & Sisters on netflix and reading blogs. I was planning to get some painting done but I was in too much of a lounging mood. I did meet my weekend goal of baking some yummy soft pretzels. They came out DELICIOUS. I think I found my new favorite recipe. If you're interested in trying it out you can find the recipe here. They're surprisingly easy to make. Next time I make them I think I'm going to try adding jalapenos and cheese. Sounds amazing, right? Well I'm going to enjoy my last couple of lounging hours watching Modern Family and enjoying a cup of yummy chai tea. Hopefully the sun comes out this week. Have a good one!
